Robert Knight works with the mediums of Charcoal, Acrylic and Oil Paints and he considers his style to be “varied from realist contemporary to a design-oriented format“. He seeks to “capture the ethereal mood” in his work.

In this one day Charcoal workshop you will use a photo to look at the trees to create a charcoal drawing based on Roberts style and technique in a stress free way given Roberts teaching approach.
The class is suitable for all levels of skill and beginners are most welcome.
Each participant will end up with an individual piece of work perhaps even a second art work.

- 2 Sheets Saunders Watercolour paper 300 gsm rough texture
- Assorted Willow Stick charcoal
- 1 Stick Compressed Charcoal
- 1 kneadable rubber
- 1 pencil rubber
- Some soft rags – t-shirt type material (jersey)
- Plastic bag for rubbish
- Easel if have one
- 1 piece of medium grade sandpaper
- A small container
- 1 roll of masking tape.
- Plastic drop cloth to protect floor or table
Overall Class Fee: $100.00.
Once a booking has been made the studio address will be provided.
